5 SEO Facts “Mind it”!

Written by Deepak Shrivastava on June 23, 2008 – 12:04 pm

There are a few points which every search engine optimization engineer should remember. Going through this will not only get you a better SERP’s ranking but also will increase your Google PR.

1:- Submit to as many quality directories, article sites and Press Releases as possible. While doing so the most important factor to remember is that all these should have a unique content and anchor text.

2:- Getting Linkbacks: Most SEO’s think the more the linkbacks the better the PR and SERP which is one of the most biggest rumours going around in the world of SEO.

3:- Don’t place common anchor text on hundred’s and thousands of sites as these can be identified by Search engines as link spam or a Black hat technique.

4:- Avoid Link Farms: Avoid sites which offer thousands of links instantly by placing a folder on your site. This is one of the worst methods of getting linkbacks. While submitting to directories, have a close look at the PR and the quality of the backlink

5:- Make use of all tags in your pages like title, description, keywords, header 1, header 2, alt of images by focusing on 10 main keywords for optimization.

Get Traffic on Blogs

Written by Deepak Shrivastava on June 17, 2008 – 6:18 am

I am Going to write here some factors that make blogs much better than normal web pages including the speed at which blogs are indexed, ability to submit to blog directories & normal directories, pings and track backs. All these little things can help drive more traffic to blogs. But here are 5 Essential tips to Increase Traffic on your Blog. If you are a Blogger then It’s for you……….

1. Use ping sites like ping-o-matic. Ping your site every time you add a new post.

2. Submit your blog to traditional search engines such as AltaVista, and MSN.

3. Submit your blog to traditional directories such as DMOZ. Directories (particularly DMOZ) increase relevance with Google. DMOZ is very picky, but what do you have to lose by trying?

4. Submit to as many RSS Directories and Search Engines as possible. This is a simple but repetitive process that can be done with software such as RSS SUBMIT.

5. Comment on other blogs. Do not just leave short, lazy comments like “I agree.” Leave well thought out replies that will force readers to wonder “who wrote this?”

6. Use track backs. If there is a blog that you refer to or quote and it is highly relevant to your subject, leave a track back. It increases your link popularity and may even score a few interested readers from the linked site.

7. Tag your website. Tagging is a new idea that has erupted across the web. Sites like Del.icio.us, Technorati and many others have a social feature that allows you to place your article under keywords or “tags” that everyone interested in that tag can see.

8. Use Forums. Forums are one of the best places to go for advice. Go to forums and find problems to solve. Make sure you leave your blog name, but be tactful about it; some forums get annoyed with those who selfishly drop a few links to their own site and leave. Although these are some of the most popular ways to drive traffic to your blog, do not limit your self to tips and lists. Use your imagination and you will come up with thousands of ways to drive traffic to your blog!

Get Higher Search Engine Ranking On Google

Written by Deepak Shrivastava on June 7, 2008 – 4:09 am

Well I think,I Don’t need to Introduce Google at here.Because whoever is here he assimilates “Google”. A latest research prooves that 2 in every 3 internet user use Google whenever they used to surf the web, and because of this it’s complicated for any internet-based business to get good search engine ranking on Google Wheather there are Thousands of sites related to your theme, and No doubt that they are your Compititors, but this is not Impossible we just need to understand the applied strategy by Google for ranking and indexing of a site. The activities that “google Loves”.
There are some Points that you should to follow for a better search engine Ranking.

1:- Google like to give a better search engine ranking to those sites which have a thorough link system.
=> This is because it Treats the links as a symbol of the sites credibility and popularity. And then awards a more prominent search engine ranking. But you should to make sure that you have Quality links ,so Always try to exchange link with respected sites.

2:- Google also give the prefrence to the “TITLE” of a page,
=> the text between the HTML tags in the section of your web page.To get a good search engine ranking, you should to include your Keywords in your Title tag.

3:- Google also puts a lot of emphasis in “Keyword Density” when it computes search engine ranking.
=> So always choose good keywords for your site. use Overture,Wordtracker or whatever you think the best.

4:- Always try to impose good and “Quality Content” on your site. this will increase no of unique visitors on your site and Google Love this.
=>  You should to never Intensified on “Spamming” while making contents for your website.

5:- Remember that the searchbots(”spiders”) do not follow all the instructions placed in the page’s code when it loads a page in order to index it.
=> This is because there are two types of instructions that allow the server and the browser to create the page: server-side instructions and client-side instructions. Server-side instructions are visible to searchbots because the web server follows the instructions before sending the information to the searchbots apart from this Client-side instructions are not visible to searchbots because these are instructions sent to the browser after the server has completed its task. The searchbots get the page directly from the server.

Google Paid Rules?

Written by Deepak Shrivastava on June 6, 2008 – 9:43 am

GOOGLE’s policies

DON’T BE EVIL

Don’t be evil. We believe strongly that in the long term, we will be better served—as shareholders and in all other ways—by a company that does good things for the world even if we forgo some short term gains. This is an important aspect of our culture and is broadly shared within the company.

Google users trust our systems to help them with important decisions: medical, financial and many others. Our search results are the best we know how to produce. They are unbiased and objective, and we do not accept payment for them or for inclusion or more frequent updating.

We will do our best to provide the most relevant and useful search results possible, independent of financial incentives. Our search results will be objective and we will not accept payment for inclusion or ranking in them.Objectivity. We believe it is very important that the results users get from Google are produced with only their interests in mind. We do not accept money for search result ranking or inclusion. We do accept fees for advertising, but it does not influence how we generate our search results. The advertising is clearly marked and separated. This is similar to a newspaper, where the articles are independent of the advertising. Some of our competitors charge web sites for inclusion in their indices or for more frequent updating of pages. Inclusion and frequent updating in our index are open to all sites free of charge. We apply these principles to each of our products and services. We believe it is important for users to have access to the best available information and research, not just the information that someone pays for them to see.

Google official stance?

Ans: We intend to spend the next several months assessing all of DoubleClick’s products and services including those offered by Performics. In the near term, we intend to operate Performics as a stand-alone business unit consistent with its past practices. Upon the completion of our integration planning with respect to Performics, we will be in a better position to announce our future plans for this business.

Will the paid inclusions would ruin Organic Rankings? Need to see in the coming days

SEO’s be ready for SURVIVAL!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Blogging
