PACS imaging is the new trend in storing the images scanned out of the CT scan, X-Rays, MRI, and Ultrasound. In the conventional methods the images were stored in films. Even before the patients leaves the hospital suggestions on the treatment recommended can be given. There is no need for the patients to carry the films. Instead they can opt for the images in CDs from the PACS imaging system if needed.
