During Product Launch

Written by Deepak Shrivastava on January 2, 2009 – 9:10 am

If you are able to recognize which aspects these affiliates have fallen short, then it would allow you to avoid the same mistakes. Further, learning from their mistakes can help you come up with a cost-effective product launch. Don’t do things in haste especially when you are launching a new product as this might affect the entire business plans you have prepared.

Try to observe the market well and research on possible problems that you might encounter. This way you will go to the battle properly armed. As some people say, going to the battle unarmed is just like digging your own grave.

A thorough research of your target market’s need and demands is very important since this will measure the viability of your product. After finding out essential information about your product and your prospective customers, you can then make modifications if needed.

This is where many online marketers have failed. They failed to recognize the need of extensive research and business planning. Furthermore, after making sure your products are ready for selling, you now need to focus on the launch techniques and plan that you need to do. Keep in mind that a very good launching gimmick can really grab a lot of attention towards your product.

What is a Search Engine?

Written by Deepak Shrivastava on November 28, 2008 – 12:37 pm

A Search Engine is a computer program that searches a resource to return a response for specific inquiries. An attempt to bring organization to chaos. An Index used to simplify locating relevant information and presenting it in a usable or familiar format, giving those results in an organized fashion listing the most relevant results first to the most obscurely remotely relevant results last.

The program is initiated when a query is put to the program in the form of “find information related to ____”. The blank would be a Key word, or the variable.

In your local library the Search Engine could be the card catalog or the library computer.

The Dewey Decimal System was developed in the late 1800’s to assist organization of a resource books, into a system of uniform storage and retrieval. This system of organized recording, storage and retrieval is a form of search engine.

The Benefits of Learning SEO

Written by Deepak Shrivastava on November 20, 2008 – 6:40 pm

Learning SEO has a number of benefits, including :

  • Learn to drive traffic to your own websites, selling your own products, and / or affiliate products & services
  • Become an SEO consultant, providing services to other businesses by driving targeted search engine traffic to their websites
  • Opportunities to gain well paid positions within professional SEO companies.

So if you were thinking about learning SEO just to help you to get more traffic to your own website, you’ll now realize that the benefits are not limited to this, in fact there are a number of possibilities & opportunities that come from learning to do SEO properly.

Where do you begin?

Unfortunately leaning SEO properly, isn’t quite as simple as buying a couple of ebooks or programs - if it were, everyone would do it - in order to really learn SEO takes a lot of learning & practise, and can actually take many years.

I started off a number of years ago, with a few ebooks. I thought I knew it all - started working on my own websites - and didn’t get the kind of results I was expecting - in fact I got virtually no search engine traffic to begin with, and felt quite deflated. So I continued to learn & practise until I started to “get” it. I made a number of wrong turns, made mistake after mistake, I tried shortcuts & loop holes which lead me into dead ends, I read good info, bad info, and gradually I started to put the pieces together, finding out for myself what did & didn’t work - and this is how I learned.

What are Web Feeds?

Written by Deepak Shrivastava on November 13, 2008 – 5:46 am

Web feeds are special files, which can be read by almost any computer, and are often used to transfer and deliver important information, news updates, and more. These items can be received by any of several applications known as readers or aggregators. Once the information has been received, an aggregation will display the feed in a more easily readable and “user friendly” format.

Internet users can subscribe to web feeds and get automatic updates, made to the web feed, as soon as they are published. Users can many times view these updates online, in the case of news updates, or you can download the information to your computer, as would be the case if you had a subscription to a podcast or vidcasts.

The process is known as syndication and users can access all the information from one place on a home computer, rather than have to access dozens of websites to skim materials; many times the feeds will contain short summaries of the articles and information available, and to finish reading the content you will have to click through to the website. With web feeds users can now receive any kind of content including news headlines, blog posts, lists, podcasts, and vidcasts (video podcasts).

Three Simple Seo Tips

Written by Deepak Shrivastava on November 11, 2008 – 6:23 pm

Update your site with regular content updates…
Why not ad a blog to your site? The search engines go nuts for websites that regularly update their content. Make that new content keyword rich and the search engines will really eat it up. Regular tweaking and tracking of results is the key, otherwise you’ll never know what works for your site.

Use targeted Keywords and keyword phrases…
There’s a big difference between keywords that will drive traffic to your page but not convert into sales and keywords and keyword phrases that are laser targeted for what you have to offer – meaning MORE SALES!!! This is where a little extra work can make all the difference. The new Google Adword keyword search tool is a fantastic way to research your keyword phrases. It has recently been updated to show actual search numbers for particular keywords and phrases so you have an excellent idea of what your prospects are using to search for you.

Pack your Pay Per Click and SEO campaigns with the same keywords…
If you use the same keywords in your PPC ads and on the capture page of your site, you let your prospects know they’re in the right place. Different keywords in your ads and on your capture page can lead to a disconnect with your potential customers. We want to instantly connect with a prospect and using this technique works wonders. Don’t believe me? Give it a try. You’ll be very pleasantly surprised.
